The Estate Romana combines a colourful mix of entertainment, from jazz, rock and classical music to film, sport, theatre and children's fun. Around 150 events in the parks, squares, art galleries and around monuments fill Rome's balmy summer evenings. Villa Celimontana and Piazza del Campidoglio are just two of the several venues that host concerts, while a Cabaret Festival is held on the Oppio Hill, next-door to the Colosseum. Open-air film screens are set up in Vittorio Emmanuele Square, on the River Tiber Island and on the top of Gianicolo Hill in Trastevere.
