This exhibit represents a glance at painting in Naples, from BAttistello Caracciolo to De Mura, twenty-five years after the laudable exhibit, 17th Century Civilisation. It is a cross-section of Baroque and late-Baroque aimed at recovering new aspects of this period, as represented in Naples, and, primarily, presenting a series of works of art that were not displayed in the previous exhibits.
