Resuming the theme of Calvinian lightness, the festival will reinforce the trend previously undertaken in workshops, placing great attention on theatrical workshops. This will involve international names, able to attract young people from all over Italy, as well as the production of shows, able to make the name "Settembre al Borgo" known throughout Italy and abroad, simultaneously acting as a vehicle for promoting the region. The programming of absolute premier theatrical performances will assure a large attendance of persons from outside the region and alliances with international festivals. In addition, previews are foreseen on weekends during the year in order to call attention to the festival and attract tourist flows throughout the year.
