The artistic collaboration between Ralph Towner and Paolo Fresu marks the encounter between two very particular musical worlds. The meeting is born from a common base of jazz, melody and improvisation capable of creating an original language. The project is fundamentally acoustic even if live intelligent use is also made of electronic instruments and effects. The music is rerified and very interactive with the original tracks, paying homage to the history of jazz and offering moments of pure improvisation, in the best traditions of ECM and in agreement with two tru architects of modern sound.
