Each summer, English-speaking theatre troupe the Miracle Players performs a new comedy at the ancient Roman Forum. Re-enacting the fortunes and misfortunes of the Roman Empire, the talented group sums up 1000 years of history in a humorous 40-minute play. After Caesar - More Than Just A Salad and The History of Rome - Part One, the Miracle Players return to the stage in 2009 with The Life of Michelangelo. Founded by Italian-Australian actor Eric Bassanesi and Scottish writer Denise McNee, the Miracle Players provide entertainment with creative storytelling techniques and humorous characterisation.
