A cross-section of the Roman theatre history, with particular attention to Campania and Pompeii. Statues, mosaics, affrescoes and reliefs in marble and terracotta shed light on the aspect of the masks and costumes and on the interest for the theatrical representations of decorators and mandants in Pompeii, in Campania and in all the Roman world in general. A journey that takes us to a manifold world, made of dancing, acting, music, mime, erudite culture, but also mass entertainment. The events are part of the cultural proposals of the journey through art, created by Campania region.
